She of Wild Women

‘I am wild woman. Hear me roar…’

What is the meaning  of wild?

When this word is invoked, it has a certain vibration, like a call that ripples toward our soul’s deepest internal knowing.

Let the word beat… like a drum inside your heart, and then meander like the river’s current throughout your body. Follow it… and let it cascade into the dark hollows of your being… let it travel into places that you may have never seen or felt inside yourself before.

For some of us may know our inner ‘wild’ better than others… and even still, there is always more exploring to do. Perhaps the word brings up fears of the unknown, for it is the untamed parts of us that we may have never given space for.

As you came into this body~ before there was a ‘you’ that was really defined~ there was only your true essence. And this is who perhaps only your mother and father and your closest family were witness to.

You were hungry… and so you cried and were fed. You were cold… and so you cried and were wrapped in warmth. You were uncertain of the world that you came into… and so you cried and were swaddled, carried next to your mother’s breast, and perhaps she sung sweet songs you. You brought such light with you to this planet… a sweet light that shone from your eyes, a playful innocence that came through your every movement. You laughed and giggled, played with your toes and with other peoples noses. And you made them smile… and to remember the beauty of life for a moment.

You are an angel. You were innocent, free, pure, primal and untainted by the world as we know it.

Do you remember that time?

How was it, being exactly who you were… and loved for every part of you (even the grumpy side)?

And when did that change?

When did you stop being you?

When did you begin forgetting yourself, and start being what the world asked of you instead?

I believe we are in the process of reclaiming this part of ourselves as we awaken to our passion and purpose in a world who has lost their connection to the wild feminine and masculine. We are rediscovering our inner wild~ who we truly are and what we really came here to do.

As a world who is now becoming more and more cut off from the forces of nature and from the natural rhythms of life, and growing more toward production and technology than ever before as the status quo~ we are also losing our sense of self through living lives that are very much cut off from nature, and thus our local communities, our neighbors, friends and even our families are suffering.

We are the children of the Earth. We are her voice, her hands, her heart, and her body. Mother nature will continue to provide for us until she can no longer. The question is… will we reawaken to her and be able to give back before it is too late?

As we live on the cusp of destruction and potential annihilation every day… we are being forced to be a bridge for new consciousness to arise. Now is the time to call to your inner wild… the one who is directly linked to the heart of the Earth and to the meaning of true freedom. The one who has a voice and who does not fear her power.

And her name is Wild Woman.

As I write, it is now the first new moon of January 2017, and I wish to offer up this ceremony of this powerful reclamation. Through ritual it is possible to transcend the old self and ‘the old ways’ for a moment~ to stimulate new energy and to invoke a new possibility. Through creating intention, awareness, meditation, and self love through body movement~ we integrate this new force of being into our lives, and we gently commit ourselves to this new way of being and understanding. Through prayer we offer up our heart to the world~ and listen to our inner call and desires.

What if you committed to your inner wild right now like never before? What if it is up to you to ‘tip the scale’, and in so doing will open the highway to a new reality, a new way of being that will entirely awaken humanity?

If you are reading this, than you are a bringer of the dawn. A leader for necessary change. An evolutionary.

May the Earth and your heart be your guide into what this will look like for you.

May all souls be happy and free.

x
